Research Interests

My main research interests lie in the foundations of statistical physics and the philosophy of physics. I use typicality reasoning to explain emergent macroscopic behavior arising from underlying microscopic dynamics. Currently I work on:

Second Law of Macroscopic Quantum Systems
Stochastic Time Evolution of a GAP-distributed Wave Function (see https://arxiv.org/abs/1104.5482 for the notion of GAP-measure)
Convergence towards Equilibrium: Boltzmann and other Concepts
