In this talk I will report on a work in progress, joint with M. Correggi and M. Olivieri. We study the quasi-classical limit of ground state energies and ground states. Interestingly, the microscopic properties are translated to the quasi-classical level: both boundedness from below and existence of ground states at the quasi-classical level follow from the corresponding properties of the microscopic system.
